Easter

Blogging is supposed to be an up to date type of web diary if you will but since I'm late for everything else in my life I decided it's only a couple days after Easter so it's not to late for Easter pics.

We had lots of fun with friends and family :0) Sadly I didn't get any pictures of Haven, she was just a bit to young for the egg hunt. The food wasn't bad considering I did the cooking (the green beans were excellent Mel).
Malachi got so excited about the eggs that he found he often needed to be reminded to keep looking for more. We tried hiding the Easter or Resurrection story inside the eggs but I think the kiddos were a bit to young this time around.
Malachi did start the day off with his nice suite on but you know how boys are and after trying to drink the bubbles we rocked the polo! It was a fun day and I even got a nap. Guess all that cooking paid off. :)

My Little Star

Ok Seriously you have to check this out. My little boy is amazing, he's got the jump down and everything!!
Where has the time gone?? It's been MONTHS since I have posted.... good news though I FINALLY got wireless working on my comp at my house, I don't know what the hold up was but hopefully now we are good to go. Here's a couple pics from our recent trip to Vegas with his Nana and Papa and of course Auntie Lydia.

Waiting very patiently for the airplane... Looks like it could be the first day of school. :(
Outside the hotel he was excited to get up on the rock! The dolphins were hiding from us, well they were playing in the room and we could barely see them.
Chillen on a tiger.
I was pretty impressed with the lion. Malachi wasn't he liked the dolphins though. Sigfried and Roy's secret garden at Mirage.
Malachi and Auntie Lydia at Ceasars Palace.
Of course he loved the ridiculously over priced suffed animals, but I'm not sure if he loved them as much as he loved he sun glasses. One cool dude!He doesn't look very happy but we HAD to ride the caresol, he loves these things.

Mr. Potato Head

A classic toy. Now there's Mr. Potato Head, Mrs. Potato Head, the kids, a Pirate and some other ridiculous potato head.He wouldn't take a picture with me until Kayden did, he got jealous :)
He was faking it, he wanted to sleep in Kayden's bed. Silly boy.

Blue Chair (Thanks Matt)

So I have been cracking down on Malachi and making him fall asleep by himself lately. So he has decided that he will be Mr. Independent and sleep on his blue chair. Thanks Matt for letting us borrow it until you get back :) It's a pretty comfy chair and Malachi seems to like it.

He also loves this book Nana got him, he'll point to the different shapes over and Over and OVER and want me to tell him what they are. He's quickly learning what the shapes are called and said Dimd (Diamond) yesterday.

The Week In Review

So I have been neglecting my blog. But as I listen to my child scream because he does not want to go to bed. (I think he started his terrible two's early)
I feel motivated to look at our week and think of how precious he is.
Kayden had a birthday so Malachi had some cake. (And a bath, notice the hair)Mommy went to D.C. for some business training. It reads" Congratulations President Obama. Change Won't be Easy but.... Together, As One World, Yes We Can."
As you can see people from all over the world signed it and sent in emails that were taped to more on the sides of this. Congrats for being the first black President, I think that's awesome.
I just wish he didn't support killing babies. :(

We disagreed. We started potty training.

Notice he never answered the question.

We rocked out. Check out his video!
We went to the zoo. *Hint, the animals are so much more active than in the summer time. Malachi loved it and was roaring at the lion. I think the giraffe's were his favorite though.
Ok one more, bath time was fun tonight :)

Roaring like the lion.

No Pix

So it's been awhile, and I was going to post Halloween pics...... smart me forgot to put my card back in the camera so I couldn't take any pictures. My brother in law doesn't have them posted to Flikr yet... (hint hint Anthony) As soon as I get some new pics we'll post them.

Other than that Malachi hasn't been feeling to well, and been with Grandma the last couple days.

Pumpkins

We carved pumpkins and as soon as I cut the top off, which was like 2 inches thick Malachi was afraid of the pumpkin. But he had fun when I started cutting the face out!
