Fair and New House

We have had an eventful couple of weeks!
At the begining of September we went to the state fair. 5 kids and 7 adults, we had them outnumbered but they had our energy level beat!
Malachi fell asleep towards the end from exhaustion but loved playing at the McDonalds farm. Watching the baby farm animals was probably his favorite.
I'm not sure he knew what tothink about the cows; we saw one cow that was born a week after Malachi and must have weighed a TON!
Last weekend we moved into a house with friends Amanda, Kaleb and their two girls. It's great for the adults cause we have so much more room, and for the kids because they have a yard with jungle gym, their own rooms and they have taken over one of the living areas with their toys!
I think Malachi's favorite part is being close to Kayden, first thing in the morning he runs to her room to see if she is awake. If she could feed him I think he would like her more than me. :)
All in all the move has been good and everyone is adjusting well. Pics of the new house will be coming soon.

Miss My Boy

This weekend seemed to go by super fast.  I miss my Malachi I want it to be Saturday so we can play!   This week I am moving to the Westside of town, which means I will not have to drive across the lovely river 4x a day. By my estimates that will give me an additional 1.5 hours a day with Malachi (not in a car)  Super excited about this.  :)  Plus all the savings in gas money.

Auntie Mel and Tio recently, like yesterday, purchased a dog, and Malachi fell in love with her.  This led me to believe that he needs a puppy, don't all little boys need a dog?  After all aren't they made out of snail and puppy dog tails?

Sunday Funday

Today was a super fun day.
Malachi and I got to eat breakfast, french toast, YUMMY! with my mom.
We played with lots of toys and packed some away for Auntie Mel's new baby.
At church we sat outside and colored then he played in the water, now that made his day!
Blocks and playing with his blankie was really the highlight of my day.
Pretty randomly he is attached to a blue blankie his Nana got for him last time we were out in Texas.  He really hates going anywhere without his blankie, and even though he can't see it in the drier he'll stand and wait for it to dry if you let him.  Anyway, he wanted to play peek a boo with the blankie and nothing is better than a childs uncontrollable laughter.
We went on a walk, read a book and bought a new musical toothbrush.
(No, it didn't make it easier to brush his teeth)
All in all it was a pretty amazing day and I love my little guy.
God certainly did bless me with him.  :)
(Pic's to follow tomorrow)
